5. How the record satisfies number 4
The information identifies details of prices, contract quantities, and purchases made by the Company in a competitive marketplace for electricity supply. This information could aid competitors or suppliers of the Company and reveal to them the price, contract quantities, or location for electricity supplies that the Company has secured in a competitive market environment. This information is economically valuable because it is not generally known or readily ascertainable and its disclosure would aid utility competitors and suppliers. The loss of value and aid to competitors and suppliers resulting from disclosure would competitively disadvantage the Company in the market and potentially lead to higher electricity costs for sales customers. Further, the Company has agreed with the electricity suppliers to preserve the confidentiality of this information because of the competitive environment of the marketplace.
